SEPULTURA Singer Talks About Upcoming DVD
April 3, 2004SEPULTURA vocalist Derrick Green was asked during a recent interview with Metal Invader of there are any plans for the group to record any more cover versions to be included on a tribute album in the near future. "I don't think we are gonna do any covers for a long time, 'cause we did a whole album that had covers," Green replied. "I think the next thing that we do is gonna be a DVD that we were recording in Brazil, as far as a live show filmed in Brazil and then we are gonna have a short film with the DVD, like a documentary since I've been in the band, sort of giving a layout of the band, What we [have] going on. It's really explaining to people who [have] never seen us, kind of get an idea of what it is. So, we are working on that, to have it [out] at the end of the year and probably record the music for the little movie. So, it's pretty cool. People being able to listen to different types of music, not just 'straight-forward' and 'power'. Just for the soundtrack, it will be different sounds and everything, so people really get an idea of what we like to do." Read the rest of the interview here.
